Will the outdoor skating rink be open?
Yes, the outdoor skating rink will be open during Whistler Winterlight, weather permitting. Enjoy skating under the festive lights! Please note that skating is by admission, and skate rentals are available.
How do we get to the event?
Whistler Winterlight is easily accessible by foot or public transportation. Parking is available at nearby lots, but we encourage carpooling or using public transit to reduce congestion.
Can we bring our pets to the event?

Ferris Wheel Information
How much are Ferris wheel rides?
Rides are $5 per person, and proceeds benefit local charities.
What are the Ferris wheel hours?
Ferris wheel hours of operation are from 12 – 8 PM. Arrive early to ride, as the line-up will close at 7 PM to ensure everyone in line has a chance to ride. Ferris Wheel rides are in high demand, that’s why this year we are open from Noon to 8 PM. We recommend arriving extra early to avoid disappointment and ensure an opportunity to view the village lights from great heights!
Are there any height restrictions for the Ferris wheel?
Yes, riders must be at least 48 inches tall to ride alone, or 42 inches tall if accompanied by an adult. Rides are not permitted for those under 42 inches tall.
