Perhaps you prefer to explore Whistler’s Olympic Legacies at your own pace with a self-guided tour. No matter what your preference, the spirit of The Games lives on in Whistler.

Bobsleigh and Skeleton Experience at the Whistler Sliding Centre

The non-profit Whistler Sliding Centre is home to the fastest ice track in the world! Since hosting the competitions for bobsleigh, skeleton and luge as part of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the venue continues to grow these sports as an active training and competition site. Public participants can experience the thrill of sliding as a passenger in a bobsleigh (winter and summer) and solo skeleton rides (winter). Visitors may also visit the venue for self-guided sightseeing year-round and spectating during the on-ice season. Venue access hours for sightseeing for April, May and June are weekdays from 9 AM - 4:30 PM. Grab a map at Guest Services and take the free self-guided interpretive tour!
