Whistler Blackcomb First Tracks

Experience First Tracks at Whistler Blackcomb with exclusive early access to Whistler Mountain before regular lift operations begin. First Tracks Information

First Tracks runs from January 15 until April 4, 2027. Get an early gondola upload and the first turns of the day. Listen for the "runs are open" call and experience the beauty of untouched powder and corduroy groomers. This program includes a $20 CAD one-time voucher to be used at any time throughout the day with light refreshments available at the top.

First Tracks Tips

  • Be at the base of the Whistler Village Gondola early. Upload between 7:30 and 8 AM
  • Buy your tickets in advance. On busy days, First Tracks may sell out. Access is limited to the first 600 people in line with a valid First Tracks voucher
  • Don’t discard your voucher once it’s scanned at the bottom, as it is also your $20 CAD one-time mountain dining voucher
  • Listen for the "Runs are open" call when you are in the Roundhouse Lodge
  • Do not ski or ride all the way back to the bottom of the mountain
  • Emerald Express and Big Red Express will be the usual lifts open to you at the top of the mountain

Is breakfast offered with First Tracks tickets?

This program includes a $20 CAD one-time voucher to be used at any time throughout the day with light refreshments available at the top. Pika’s, the downstairs section of the Roundhouse, will be open for breakfast with hot breakfast items available as well as packaged goods and grab and go items. The cappuccino bar will also be open for espresso-based beverages and fresh pastries.

Do First Tracks tickets include lift access?

No, First Tracks tickets only include early access to the Roundhouse Lodge and a Food & Beverage voucher. Lift tickets must be purchased separately in order to ski/snowboard Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

Are First Tracks tickets date specific?

These tickets are NOT date specific, and are valid for any day First Tracks is offered. First Tracks accepts the first 600 guests on a first come basis. If you do not make this, your ticket will be valid for the remainder of the season.

Am I guaranteed access to First Tracks if I have purchased a ticket?

No, access is limited up to the first 600 in line with a valid First Tracks voucher. Numbers are dictated by weather conditions. It is recommended to be in line early to ensure your spot.
