Whistler Blackcomb's Fire & Ice Show

On Sunday nights in winter, take in a spectacular display of pyrotechnics, music, live entertainment and world-class athletes performing on snow at the legendary Fire & Ice Show in Skier's Plaza. Skiers and riders jump and flip through a blazing ring of fire to the beats of a live DJ, and it all ends with a dazzling fireworks display. It's an exciting evening of free, live entertainment to enjoy with family and friends.

Fire & Ice Show Times and Information

The Fire & Ice Show has concluded for the 2025/26 Winter Season. Check back in late Fall 2026 for new dates and information.

Dates: Every Sunday, January – March, 2027* & New Year's Eve Edition on December 31
Time: 7:30 PM
Cost: Free!
Location: Skier's Plaza in Whistler Village (base of Whistler and Excalibur Gondolas)
Description: A free, all-ages night of entertainment. The 30-minute show features Whistler's top skiers and riders flipping and twisting through a burning hoop on the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb. Learn about the legend of Spo7ez, a village shared by the Squamish Nation and the Lil’wat Nation and see a performance by world champion hoop dancer, Alex Wells. Dress warmly, grab a hot chocolate and prepare to be amazed!

Fire & Ice is presented by Whistler Blackcomb, in partnership with the Resort Municipality of Whistler and Tourism Whistler.

New Year’s Eve Show

On December 31, usher in the New Year with a Fire & Ice Show that includes special performances, live music and an extended fireworks display.

Location: Skier's Plaza in Whistler Village (base of Whistler Mountain and Excalibur Gondolas)
Description: After the Luminosity Parade, join us for an unforgettable evening of pyrotechnics, music, and live entertainment featuring special guests to ring in the New Year. The celebration includes storytelling from the Lil’wat Nation and Squamish Nation, and a captivating performance by world champion hoop dancer Alex Wells. The evening concludes with the dazzling New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular at 9 PM.

*Please note: All dates and times are weather and snow dependent and subject to change. A modified version of the experience may be presented if snow conditions in the valley do not allow for the sporting element.
