This is a fun and educational day in the backcountry adjacent to Whistler Blackcomb. Among the many skills you will be introduced to are basic avalanche rescue, terrain analysis, track setting, uphill and downhill skiing technique, route finding, tree skiing and trip planning. |

| MSAA: Private Backcountry Ski Touring & Splitboarding |
Enjoy awesome backcountry skiing and splitboarding around the Whistler Blackcomb ski area. The big-mountain backcountry outside of the ski area offers a multitude of bowls, glaciers and gladed runs to choose from. Geared for those with previous backcountry experience. Participants must be comfortable and confident in intermediate terrain in a variety of snow conditions. We run our backcountry tours at a maximum of 6:1 (client to guide) ratio. |
