Fantastic buffet experience with excellent service! One of the staff members,Ruben, was exceptionally attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and keeping our drinks topped up. Their friendly and professional approach made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!”

We came for both the breakfast buffet along with dinner to get an idea of what the hotel to offer because we were there for a few days. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with an omelette station and many different options. Usually I skip breakfast to get to the mountain early, however, this is one meal I would not skip!
For dinner, it’s a typical American style tavern food, with nothing too exciting to stand out from any other hotel restaurant. The meal was delicious, and it was fairly priced for being in the hotel.

So we went for the Thursday’s BBQ special for $39. A lot of the staff said that it was portioned well and that there would be left overs so plan for takeaway. There was 4 of us total and we ordered 3 portion. We knew it was trouble when the food came out in about 7-10 minutes. It is a set menu, family style but the way it is set up just doesn’t make sense.
Menu includes:
Hawaiian rolls - this is your standard roles you can get at any supermarket. Husband actually saw the packaging by the kitchen since we were facing the kitchen.
Mac and cheese - it was good.
Cauliflower bites and corn - corn was soooo overcooked and tasted like it’s been sitting out. Cauliflower bites were frozen bites that they didn’t make in store and weren’t fresh.
Now for the meat:
Steak was chewy as F! I literally almost chocked swallowing it.
The chicken was super dry and the prawns were overcooked. The pork however wasn’t too bad.
The best part about this menu was the salads. They were actually delicious.
Overall, I wouldn’t ever order it again. The portions don’t make sense since they are all proportioned. So the portion for 2 people and 4 would have the same portion of salad, Mac and cheese and cauliflower bites. They just increase the number of meats needs per person.
However, if you are looking for a menu that has everything in it and mediocre food that’s not the best quality, definitely check it out.

Currently staying at The Marriot Hotel, as you can imagine we expect a certain service level. This is up to standard when it comes to the rooms. However, not when it comes to their food and room service. We expected to receive a great food experience but somehow we received food worse than you can expect from your local burger place (McDonald's). The food was cold, there was cheese put on the salad that wasn't stated on the menu, and when you place a comment to cook something well done, they just serve it as medium cooked. So if you are willing to pay a ridiculous high price for very little not well prepared food, you are at the right place!
