I gave this spa and massage experience to my husband as a birthday gift, and we absolutely loved it!
The surrounding nature was breathtaking, and the peaceful silence added to the calm atmosphere. The layout of the hot and cold pools was smart and professional, with everything designed to help you fully relax. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to come back again as soon as possible.
Also, I’d like to mention a tall gentleman who was in charge of the wood fire for the dry sauna and other related tasks. He was incredibly dedicated, organized, and worked with such genuine passion that it really stood out. Each time we saw him, we felt deeply appreciative of his commitment and strong work ethic.
(They give each guest two large towels and a bathrobe as soon as you arrive — we didn’t know that and brought a whole bunch of our own! )

My hubby overruled my first choice of Four Seasons Spa and ended up going here. Glad I tried it. Facilities are old and needs updating however workers and location more than makes up for it. We were there from 9:30am till 3pm. I will strongly recommend going there when they open to really be able to relax and enjoy the tranquility of being one with the nature. I will definitely go back for another visit.

My visit to Scandinave Spa Whistler was absolutely incredible. The best part for me was the beautiful natural setting — being immersed in nature is so healing- surrounded by forest with views of the mountains made the experience feel peaceful and grounding. The hot, cold, and relaxation cycle was perfectly designed and really helped me unwind. There are lovely little relax seating areas outside with fire pits. There are also inside relaxation areas if the weather isn't great. They've thought this through.
I also appreciated the small touches like being able to get extra towels from the front desk and having a cozy little bistro on-site. It’s a great spot to take a quiet break, grab a drink or a snack, or check your phone if needed.
If I could make one small suggestion, it would be lovely to see a few more health-focused options in the bistro — especially sugar-free drinks or something like sparkling water (a can of Bubbly would go a long way!).
Pro tip #1: If you’re flexible and don’t mind possibly waiting, walking in for the thermal journey is cheaper than reserving in advance.
Pro tip #2: There are a fair number of stairs on the property — including a full flight between the check-in area and change rooms, and smaller sets between levels of the spa. I did see some older guests managing fine, but it’s worth knowing ahead of time if mobility is a concern.
Overall, this was my favourite spa experience to date. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to fully disconnect and relax in a beautiful natural setting.

Pros: The absolute BEST massage I’ve ever had by Mark!!! Beautiful spa, plenty of options for hot pools, sauna, steam rooms, cold plunges and areas to relax/nap/read. Unlimited towel exchange, just need to walk to front desk to get it. Delicious tea available for everyone as well as apples for snacking.
Cons: took a long time to get checked in to both the spa and the massage. They are not kidding when they say you need to get there 30 minutes before appointment. It takes 3 minutes to check in but there are only 1-2 people working so it takes a while.
The customer service is hit or miss. Chelsea at the bistro was quite brusque and seemed annoyed that I was trying to use the credit card I booked the reservation under for lunch payment. Everyone else was nice but didn’t really seem to go out of their way to deliver a high level experience you may expect from a spa. They are very strict with phones not allowed in the spa area. I saw a guy get escorted out of the pool area after taking a quick video of the scenery. (my video and pictures taken from bistro area where it is allowed)

It was very good experience. I really enjoyed at this spa. I was not sure if I liked because of silence rules but it was actually not bad. I think I could feel relaxing because of these rules, focus on relaxing.
I have read no phone, no electric devices but I saw some people had a phone and reading on their device.
Staff were all nice, and actually sandwiches was really good.
