Absolutely fantastic tour -- one of the best tours I've taken anywhere! We took the Talking Trees tour with Gavin and learned so much about the Indigenous history, culture, and botany of the region. Gavin was extremely knowledgeable and we left the tour with many thoughtful insights about the ways the Indigenous nations have utilized and worked with the land for thousands of years. It was also neat to try the tea sample he brought for us!

I was lucky to have the opportunity to take Talaysay's Taking Trees tour with my team yesterday.
What an incredible opportunity it was to learn first hand the Indigenous ways of living, particularly in how they used the land for food and medicine. I found the Talaysay talking trees tour insightful and perspective shifting.
Thank you so much for the opportunity!

We had the opportunity to take the Talking Totems / Salish Sea and Me tour with Talaysay Tours, and it was a wonderful experience. It was a great way to learn more about Stanley Park and the Coast Salish people, and our guides were knowledgeable and engaging.
I also have to commend Talaysay Tours for their exceptional customer service. They handled multiple payment issues, booking changes, physical accommodation needs, and questions with professionalism and care—10/10 customer service!
Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an insightful and meaningful experience in Stanley Park.

We did the Salish Sea and Me tour yesterday. It was the highlight of our trip to Vancouver. Ruby our guide was knowledgeable, thoughtful and inspiring. We left feeling so grateful and having learnt so much. I wish we had time to do more of the tours. The company are also really responsive and helpful. Thank you so much.

Thank you Seraphina for being our amazing tour guide for the Talking Trees tour and sharing your knowledge about the trees, plants, and animals with us. We came expecting to learn about trees but learned so much about Squamish and Haida culture, thank you for talking to us about your heritage and life and answering the group’s many many questions.
It was great learning about the edible plants, how native people tended to the forest, and how the tradition of being connected with the land is being continued by First Nations people today.
To anyone looking for tours, this is a MUST DO activity! The nuance and knowledge shared in this tour is so important, and most big tour companies (bus, walking, and bike) in the city won’t share this valuable information in the way Talasay Tours will.
