Incredible food and incredible service — we went for happy hour appetizers over the long weekend and it was so good we decided to stay for dinner! The dumplings are to die for!!! The prices are VERY reasonable (especially for Whistler), and the staff are so lovely. We will be back soon!

When my wife saw Roti Prata on the menu, we had to eat here. It did not disappoint. We got it with mussuman sauce on side and it came fresh, hot and delicious. We also got an appetizer size soup each and that made for a good lunch.

Dinner at Purple Panda was unexpectedly delicious with impeccable service!
It’s rare I feel I have a 10/10 experience at a restaurant and Purple Panda truly surprised me! From truly delicious food, to decor to the outstanding service, our experience was an absolute treat.
The showstoppers were the One Night in Bangkok cocktail - SO GOOD - and the mushroom dumplings were so delicious we ordered another round!
I would 100% recommend going here if you’re looking for a chill vibe in Whistler with food you can depend on(that’s not too pricey) and amazing service. Thank you for the amazing experience :)

We had been staying at Whistler for last few ski seasons and looking forward to this first Chinese restaurant in the village. We walked past this a few times but it was not opened, so this place was highly anticipated.
Perhaps, we hyped ourselves too much, the food was okay but not that great. It could be also we had the wrong perception that this was going to be a Chinese restaurant but it was more like a westernized Chinese food, plus Thai food. For example, my orange chicken was overly sweetened by syrup. My western friend who lived in Hong Kong for decades asked for the highest level of spice - level 5 - for his laksa curry noodle. Our server was very sweet and concerned that would be too much and recommended level 4 instead and offered if that was not spicy enough, she could give him more chilli ??? at the side. So, it turned out still too mild for him as expected and she gave him more chilli. On the bill, we were charged for that extra condiment. So, was this a subtle form of upselling?
The place was quite small, so seatings might be limited and not spacious enough for a big group.
Overall, it was still a good change of scenery for the dining experience at Whistler. If we come again, we would order Thai food instead.

Delicious food and drinks! My husband and I dropped in one evening and sat at the bar. It was busy, but service was excellent. Started with a shrimp fresh roll, followed by wonton soup and massaman curry. All were very fresh and tasty. They have a great drink selection too. Will return!
