Stopped here for an impromptu lunch. I expected very little, but LOVED what I ate and what options were available. I ate the “Machu Picchu salad,” which was delicious and more filling than expected with the vegan bean topping (I opted against options for fish or meat). I was particularly impressed that they also served flautas and chilaquiles—these are things that usually found only in “real” Mexican restaurants, not usually tourist traps. That made it feel more authentic for me. The service was super friendly (the young lady who worked the counter came up and checked to make sure that the food was good, even though this is a fast casual place, not a formal sit-down restaurant). Overall, if highly recommend!

The La Cantina at nesters is absolutely phenomenal! This is the location to go to, always! The service is absolutely top-tier, everyone is so friendly, the food is phenomenally delicious, it comes out so fresh and fast. Denise and Jackie, are absolute sweethearts, seriously, the best customer service. They are absolutely wonderful about showing you the ingredients in the meals and know exactly what the food contains, you feel very confident, eating there with food allergies because they are so confident and educated on allergies and what’s in the food. Great place to go if you’re gluten-free, celiac or anaphylaxis. Can’t wait to come in again, we are locals and absolutely love this restaurant!! ????

Came in on a very very busy weekend into Whistler and were very surprised to not be met with lines at this place. The tacos are really quite nice.
As a vegetarian, I got the cauliflower, poblano and Mexican tacos - I have to say the poblano was a bit funky but the other two were really quite good. The sauces on the side are nice too!

Stumbled upon this place while in Whistler for work and couldn't have been a better choice. Absolutely delicious food, friendly and fast service, and reasonably priced for the quality. I will certainly be back when I'm in town and highly recommend it to anyone.

Service was really good here and the staff were really friendly. The baja fish and pulled pork tacos were my favourite. Guacamole wasn’t bad but wasn’t the best I’ve had either. Pretty affordable and good meal for the whistler village.
