This is the best sushi restaurant in the area. If you love sushi (and excellent udon), come here. If you’ve never had sushi, come here so you know what “good” is. It’s not fancy and reminds me of the sushi restaurants I went to most often when I lived in Japan: nothing fancy, excellent food. The staff are lovely and the chefs are masters.
I’m leaving this review partly because of some of the negative reviews on here. Yes, food in Whistler is (very) expensive. Whistler is expensive. The challenge is finding value despite the costs associated with being on a huge resort. Bottom line - the food is value despite the cost. Re: staff being rude, I’ve been here many times, never experienced a moment of rudeness - and I’d still come for the sushi even if they threw it at me!
Great team, great food - I’ll be coming back (multiple times) every time I’m in town. Thanks for all the Ikura!

Price is a joke. Sushi tastes ok, nothing special. five piece of Sushi Roll is 14-18$. We paid $32 for 10 pieces... Unfriendly service.
We should have left without eating them. Extremely unhappy dinner. Please do not go there!

One of my faves in Whistler! I’ve been a couple times and the service and food is absolutely fantastic. The freshest and most creative sushi in Whistler. I love the spider roll, hako roll, kani blossoms, and unagi nigiri
The host Mo was so great and accommodating – we came too early but he made sure we all had some green tea while we waited and was super kind/enthusiastic
Our servers on two different occasions were Kelsey and Eva, who were super knowledgeable about the menu, and Sachi and Kobe made amazing food as always :)
Such a pleasure to dine here and love how long Sachi Sushi has been a mainstay at Whistler

The food tasted good but the portions were small so it makes the overall meal a little expensive for a casual looking restaurant. It’s popular so be prepared to wait during busy times. The service was OK.

Honestly, was pretty dissatisfied with the food here. Enough for me to leave a review because it was a let down.
The quantity of rolls is on the low end, the uniqueness of the rolls is mid, and the taste was just… it doesn’t give you that “fun” feeling of getting sushi. Plain, bland, etc.
We got spicy tuna rolls and it tasted like the tuna didn’t have any sesame marinade at all, and there was absolutely zero spice to it at all. It was as plain as it gets.
The service was exactly what you’d want though so it was not the host/waiters fault. I just think the food could be a lot better and fun. Also the atmosphere was quite boring. Just felt like there was no passion to create a cool sushi spot. Me being a business owner, I would do everything in my power to make this THE place to go. And I could feel that was not even a thought in anyone’s mind.
