Our first stop during our road trip to Whistler was to grab some eats at La Brasserie in the village. This is a busy spot with a large patio area that's perfect for people watching.
Ordered the Mussels and Baguette ($24.5) - these were small mussels but there was a plentiful number of tender mussels. Loved the shallots and white wine cream sauce.
The classic French Onion Soup ($15) had plenty of sweet onions in the broth.

La Brasserie is a solid, family-friendly spot in Whistler with good value for the price. The food is decent, and the fondue makes for a fun option to share. The real highlight is the patio—cozy with heaters and a prime location for people-watching if you can snag a seat. A nice, relaxed vibe right in the village. Would come back for a casual meal or après.

We visited La Brasserie on January 1st, a cold and crowded day in Whistler Village. With our two dogs in tow, we were specifically searching for patio-friendly restaurants. After being turned away by two places that informed us they couldn't allow dogs on their patios, we were relieved to finally find this restaurant.
For appetizers, we ordered the soup of the day and French onion soup, both of which arrived quickly and tasted absolutely divine. However, the wait for our main courses—a burger and fish and chips—felt interminable, prompting us to ask the waitress a couple of times if our order had been forgotten.
When the food finally arrived, it was worth the wait. The dishes were flavorful and satisfying, making up for the earlier delay.

This place is a must! It is so cozy, and perfect atmosphere when tired after skiing but not up for a party ;) We went there because we were craving fondue ??. It was delicious, with many options to add on apartment from bread.
Love the interior decor so colorful yet cozy really giving Italian vibe.
Service was great, very attentive and polite.
Definitely recommend!

It is close to the Whistler village gondola, so there is a lot of traffic in the mornings. Narrow interior, tiny tables. Very cold inside, insulation of windows and glass surfaces is far from perfect... Or it should be heated properly ín winter.
Service is fast and polite.
The breakfast food is tasty, but nothing special.
However, the place is a bit expensive for the overall service.
