Fitzsimmons Zone
The Fitzsimmons Zone is the original and most popular area of the
Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Located on the lower mountain above
Whistler Village, it offers the park's widest range of terrain, from
beginner-friendly flow trails and skills areas to world-famous jump
lines such as A-Line and highly technical expert descents. It's the best
place for riders to progress their skills because nearly every
difficulty level is represented in one zone.

Garbanzo Zone X
The Garbanzo Zone is Whistler Bike Park’s step up from Fitzsimmons
– often described as the big brother of Fitz. Accessed via the
Garbanzo Chair, it adds roughly 2,700 vertical feet of terrain and is
geared towards strong intermediate, advanced and expert riders. The
trails are longer, steeper, rougher and more technical, with a mix of
high-speed flow lines, large jump trails, and classic Whistler
root-and-rock descents. Riders come here for iconic trails such as Blue
Velvet, Freight Train, Original Sin, and Goat’s Gully, where the terrain
becomes faster, more physical, and more demanding than the lower
mountain.

Creekside Zone X
The Creekside Zone is Whistler Bike Park’s newest and most
natural-feeling riding area. Accessed via the Creekside Gondola, it
offers a quieter alternative to the busier Fitzsimmons and Garbanzo
zones, with long descents through dense coastal rainforest, creek
crossings, loamy singletrack, technical rock features and machine-built
flow trails. Designed primarily for advanced and expert riders,
Creekside combines classic Whistler technical terrain with newer,
flow-focused trails, creating a unique choose-your-own-adventure
experience.

Peak Zone X
The Peak Zone is the highest and most spectacular area of the Whistler
Mountain Bike Park. Accessed via the Peak Chair, it requires a separate
Peak Ride lift ticket, and delivers a true alpine riding experience
above the treeline. Unlike the jump-focused terrain found lower on the
mountain, the Peak Zone features long, scenic descents through rugged
alpine terrain, sweeping views of the Coast Mountains, and narrow
singletrack winding through rock gardens, berms and switchbacks. The Top
of the World trail is for advanced riders only. Rider numbers are
limited each day due to the sensitive alpine environment and seasonal
snow conditions.
