DO NOT book through the Whistler website. I did. Apparently, you don't find out the real cost until AFTER you book. I was looking for the cheapest place to stay, and the Painted cliffs looked like the best place for our family. When I booked it online they said the cost for 2 nights was $479... turns out that was a lie. Next day I get the real total of $953.41. Almost double what I agreed to. So I went to cancel, and so sorry, it's non refundable. And no hot tub. And by the way, it's also a construction zone. None of this was disclosed until AFTER I booked the place. It's bait and switch.
The place was not terrible. Very outdated, looks like nothing has been changed in 20 years. The lamp next to the bed was broken, so I fixed it. There weren't enough blankets, so I looked in the laundry closet, and there was a hamper full of dirty towels, but no blankets. I would have called, but I was a little bit agitated about the whole thing and just thought it would be best if I didn't.

We were in unit 3 - 2bed,2 bath w/ washer and dryer. Large suite with nice size kitchen, dining table and family room. Proximity to slopes was also perfect. Downside..not many, but no pool and walk to hot tub were not ideal….but we still used it without a problem. Also, not walking distance to the upper village or main village with bus being an essential connector. Bus stop was just outside complex and was convenient (and free). I guess you could walk down blackcomb, which makes it a 15 min walk to the upper village. All in, highly recommend renting here!

Excellent place to relax with good access to ski area.
Relatively good house condition and there is Weber gas grill maintained well.
Guest needs to use reserved parking lot and guest lot is also available for extra vehicles.
Warm ground and good heating system are good bonus too.

Stellar location. Whistler is accessible by bus which is great, and the ski hill is just outside the door. The hot tub is refreshing after a long ski day. And just nearby at the hotel is a rental location!

We stayed In unit 44, which is separated from the ski run by a mere 30 feet, which is about as close to ski-in-ski-out as you can get for these condos. It is absolutely the selling point of this unit. A communal hot tub is located dowstairs mid property.

There is an access road within 50 feet of the unit where you can temporarily park to load and unload your luggage when you arrive and depart. A bus stop is located a short walk away on the main road which is about 500 feet away, or you can simply walk down the side of the ski run to get to the Blackcomb Village.

There is covered parking for one vehicle reserved, with a few unreserved spaces available for a second vehicle. The spaces are fine for a passenger cars but Chevy Tahoe sized SUVs will be a tight squeeze. Anything larger will be too long for the spaces and will protrude by a couple of feet.

Furnishings are mountain cabin inspired and functional though modest. That said, there is a large TV above the fireplace with a room filling corner sectional couch to watch from (or from the dining table) as well as a game console in one of the bedrooms.

Where this unit falls down is in its plumbing. The kitchen sink, downstairs shower and vanity faucet are all tired and need to be replaced. Leaks under the counter, erratic temperature control and loose installation are glaring shortcomings that detract from the unit and its amenities.

Management is responsive to inquiries over the phone and will do their best to make things right, but this unit desperately needs some plumbing maintenance.
