A commercial lodge that is reaping the benefits of its location with no focus on guest experience. Apart from the location nothing seemed to work for us during our stay. The check in staff on weekend need more training and wasn't helpful. Even mentioned during our conversation that I am here only for one day. The property didn't inform us that they were renovating, and we found out about it during our stay. We had a note in the room giving us information about it. One elevator, swimming pool and back side of the lodge was under construction. So, all guests staying were using only one elevator in the property. The property doesn't have any guest facilities, no water dispenser, no ice machine, no microwave in the room/public area, no fridge in the room. When I asked the reception about the microwave, I was informed that I have booked a wrong room and should have booked a suite as there is no microwave. Although you will find cutlery, crockery and glassware in the room. For the price we paid we didn't get the value for our money. This isn't a property to stay for families.

Hotel parking is a scam. They’re looking to extract every penny out of their visitors. We were 10 mins late to multi day parking pass and immediately got a ticket that’s 3 times more than the parking pass cost. And front desk can’t or refuses to do anything about it! The inside construction quality was also definitely not to great standard.

An establishment from an older time, but still very comfortable, affordable, and lovely. My partner and I stayed the long weekend and had a great time.

The accommodations are basic, but if you don't need more than a place to stay, a gym, and a pool and spa, then you've found your place. We came at an unfortunate time as the pool and spa was under renovations. Hopefully, we can use it next time!

The in suite kitchen was pleasant to have as we would just wake up and make our breakfast. The layout of our room was odd as the bed had been arranged and set up by the kitchen sink/countertop. The stove suite was quite old and we had a difficult time removing the bacon smell from the morning.

Be careful with the parking here. We bought a valid 24-hour guest pass and were still issued a $75 ticket by the private company that runs the garage, which then refused to void it despite the pass being paid for.

A parking operator that tickets guests who have paid, and won't reverse it when shown proof, is not something a lodge should be outsourcing to without oversight. The front desk instructions and garage signage are irrelevant if following them doesn't protect you.

Photograph your pass, your plate, and your payment confirmation before you walk away from the car. Also be aware of the poor care of the building and immense construction. It only adds to the laundry list of issues.

Be aware of the scam. This particular Lodge is owned by private individuals . Seems their site is hacked. I booked the hotel through their website When I arrived at the reception on the day, I came to know that my booking is not registered in their system and the receptionist mentioned I was the second or third person on that particular day had the similar experience. They had almost 20 reports already on this particular issue but seems no action has been taken. I reported this with the BC police non emergency fraud department. So please make sure when you book your stay at this place or avoid if you don't want to be take risk.
