Whistler prides itself on being an international resort that is accessible to all people. As the proud Host Mountain Resort for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Whistler has recently improved accessibility througout the Village, parks and accommodation.

Recreation
Whistler is an outdoor adventure playground for people of all abilities. The following links provide more information on accessible recreational activities and programs:
- Trails around Lost Lake are groomed for Nordic sit-skiing and cross-country skiing
- Accessibility features in Whistler's Parks
- Jet boating and off-road adventures are fun summer activities for persons with limited mobility
- Bungee jumping is a year round activity that can be done with a wheelchair
- Meadow Park Sports Centre has a wheelchair accessible weight room and lap pool with a chairlift. Wheelchairs and sledges are welcome on the ice rink
- Families can enjoy the inclusive playground in Whistler Olympic Plaza
- The Valley Trail is paved and suitable for wheelchairs, tandem bikes and hand bikes in summer
- Skiing and sightseeing on Whistler Mountain is enhanced with wheelchair access via the Whistler Village Gondola
