Big Sky Golf and Country Club

Big Sky Golf & Country Club

Designed by Robert Cupp in 1994

Serene and majestic are words often used to describe Big Sky's course. Half an hour north of Whistler in the scenic Pemberton valley, Big Sky's gently rolling terrain lies in the shadow of snow-capped Mount Currie. Robert Cupp used the broad valley's wide-open spaces and ample sunshine to design a par 71, 7,001 yard long-ball hitters dream course.

Course Description

Par 71 Yardage Rating Slope
Black 7,001 73.0 130
Blue 6,496 70.5 122
White 6,037 68.7 111
Green 5,208 64.8 103

At the foot of the massive Mount Currie, Big Sky is an outstanding 18-hole golf experience with tri-valley mountain views. The Robert Cupp-designed course features an exquisitely manicured set of links that makes tricky use of ponds and natural vegetation to provide a memorable round of golf.

Big Sky is the longest of the four championship courses that comprise the Whistler golf community. The course also has extensive practice facilities featuring a 350-yard, double-ended driving range, two practice bunkers, and three practice putting greens, and the Big Sky Golf Academy, one of western Canada's top teaching facilities offers a wide variety of programs and lessons for every skill level.
