Saturday, August 8: Dual Slalom
This is head-to-head high speed action old-school style. Pros and amateurs rub shoulders over the bumps, jumps, banks and ponds. Look out for a few surprises this year!
Sunday, August 9: Monster Energy Garbanzo Downhill
This epic downhill course challenges both World Cup and local riders against 3,400 vertical feet of roots, rocks and killer air. Expect smoking brake pads while racers try to conquer the 14-minute mark.
Sunday, August 9: Ken Quon Cross-Country
Fun for the whole family! Three separate events take place at the time a traditional family ride on the wide Lost Lake trails, a WORCA Loonie-style race and the RE/MAX Corridor Cup Challenge, a two-member team event for all levels of cross-country riders.
Monday, August 10: Ride the Whistler Mountain Bike Park

See women rip it up with no boys and no excuses! The best in the world mix with first-time competitors in three races including technical, jumps and tricks and the awesome invitation-only Gala Slopestyle.
Wednesday, August 12: The Air Downhill
Using A-Line, the world’s most famous freeride downhill trail, 200 of the world’s best riders have one chance to show off with nearly 100 jumps.
Thursday, August 13: VW Trick Showdown
The best 24 riders in the world try to impress their peer judges with the wickedest tricks on two wheels. Competing on two spectacular features in the Boneyard, host announcer Brad Ewen will throw $1,000 cash at the rider he deems worthy in each feature.
Friday, August 14: Giant Slalom
With two races, two runs and crazy adrenaline, the jump-infused track winds through the heart of the Boneyard offering the fastest head-to-head competition ever seen in the sport of mountain biking. No merging, no sissies.
Friday, August 14: Kidsworx
For kids age 6-10, family and friends can cheer them on as they maneuver through actual bike trials sections.
Saturday, August 15: Canadian Open Enduro
Brand new for 2009, this race of mountain mayhem is a mixture of short climbs, high speed open sections, lots of technical and steep downhill. Starting at the top of Garbanzo with a mass start, riders will race to the valley in 30+ minutes of non-stop hair-on-fire action.
Saturday, August 15: Trialsworx
Perfect for spectators, see mad skills in action over some of the most difficult terrain and obstacles imaginable.
Saturday, August 15: Canadian Cheese Rolling Championships
Straight from Europe, this event is the only official non-bike race held during Crankworx. The madness starts with bodies and giant wheels of cheese flying down the hill at Blackcomb’s Base 2 area. Just watch or join in if you’re daring.
Saturday, August 15: Monster Energy Slopestyle
Imagine 20,000 fans, the best slopestyle riders in the world and a custom-built Boneyard at the base of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Watch champions like Andreu Lacondeguy serve up a tray of constantly one-upped, air-packaged goods.
Sunday, August 16: Canadian Open Downhill presented by Kona
This classic downhill course travels from Whistler Village Gondola mid-station to the valley floor on epic single track runs. One chance, one run.
