Whistler Blackcomb Teen Ski and Snowboard Lessons
Whistler Blackcomb's ski and snowboard lessons offer the best techniques and terrain to suit any ability level. Choose from private, semi-private and group lessons, with multilingual instructors available upon request.
Whistler Mountain Village Base
Lessons are available at the Whistler Village location between November 24, 2011 and April 22, 2012. Full day lessons begin at 9:00 AM. Half day lessons begin at 8:45 AM & 12:30 PM.
All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to the lesson.
Lesson Descriptions
Learn to Ski & Ride - Whistler Blackcomb's teaching method is customer centered to ease the learning curve. Beginners only. No pressure zone. Specialized, easy to handle terrain. You can relax and learn at the same time. Full day lessons begin at 9:45 AM; half day lessons begin at 12:45 PM.
Private Lessons - ski, telemark or ride the park and pipe with video analysis and language choice. The ultimate mountain learning experience. Cut the lift line-ups, ski or ride the best places (including the secret ones), plus get one-on-one instruction to the next level. Go one-on-one or form a group of up to five friends or family members of similar ability.
All Ski and Snowboard School programs must be booked at least 56 hours prior to your arrival to take advantage of the listed rates.

- Never skied before. Or is not yet able to do a snowplow on a gentle slope. |

Novice - Can do snowplow turns in control on gentle slopes. Prefer to ski at a slow pace. Green runs remain a bit of a challenge. |

Comfortable Novice - Ability to link strong snowplow turns or wide stance parallel. Feel comfortable on green runs but rarely venture onto blue runs. May add poles at this level. |

Intermediate - Able to ski parallel turns with pole plant. Can ski most blue runs, more advanced blues remain a challenge. Would like to explore more varied terrain. |

Advanced - Able to ski strong parallel turns with a pole plant on all blue runs and easy black runs. Learning, short turns, off piste, moguls, powder and more difficult terrain. |

Expert - Enjoy the challenge of skiing in control in all conditions and terrain and want to refine these skills. |

Intermediate - Can snowboard comfortably on all green runs and some blue runs. More difficult blue runs are sometimes a challenge. Would like to explore more varied terrain. |

Advanced - Able to link turns on blue runs and easy black runs. Learning short turns, off piste terrain, small jumps, powder and difficult terrain. |
