In less than a decade, Kokanee Crankworx has become the authoritative free ride festival. A supercharged magnet for the world's best riders and the definitive domestication of dirt in the service of epic endurance, supreme flow, monster air and gravity-fuelled mountain biking. Over ten fearless days in August, the venues at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park serve as a modern day Colosseum to the world's best mountain bike athletes.

July 1 to September 4, 2012
ArtWalk features regional artists and artisans in host venues throughout Whistler Village, Upper Village, Creekside and Function Junction, including cafés, retail outlets, hotels and restaurants. Artists from the Sea-to-Sky region showcase their works of painting, photography, fibre arts, pottery, multi-media, jewellery and sculpture. Sea to Sky's signature agritourism event, Slow Food Cycle Sunday, in Pemberton, BC, blows the fast-food drive-through away. Running over rocks, roots, tree stumps, and logs, up ski hills, hiking trails, through puddles, mud, snow and much more. These courses take people off road and into the hills. The Whistler race will be held in the upper alpine of Blackcomb Mountain. Navigate through some steep climbs, sharp descents and craggy wilderness trails.
