7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show

Sierra Wireless Whistler Cup

Now in its fifteenth year, the Sierra Wireless Whistler Cup has become the North American highlight of the international juvenile calendar and North America's premier International Juvenile Ski Race for girls and boys aged 11 to 14 years. The race brings together 350 athletes from more than 20 countries around the world.

Can-Fit-Pro Conference & Trade Show

2008 World Backcountry Freeride Jam

This three-day event within the TELUS Ski & Snowboard Festival includes amateur and pro backcountry competitions, The North Face Canadian Ski Mountaineering Championships, chances to demo the latest backcountry equipment, to meet and learn from the professionals, avalanche clinics, and out-of-bounds tours. And it's all free.

WAG Dog Parade
April 19, 2008
Walk in support of the homeless animals at Whistler Animals Galore (WAG) at the annual Dog Parade at Whistler Dogfest. Collect pledges for WAG's furry friends, then bring your own canine companion to the Town PLaza Gazebo in Whistler Village on April 19 for the parade through Whistler Village. The parade is followed by the Best Dressed Dog contest and the Dog-Owner-Look-a-Like contest.

Spring skiing and riding is open on Blackcomb Mountain until June 8, 2008. Whistler Mountain is closed as of today, but will re-open for the Bike Park and summer sightseeing.

Spring Fling

Spring Fling - A Toast of BC, is the Whistler Film Festival Society's inaugural winter après celebration and fundraiser, featuring sumptuous offerings from Whistler restaurants and samplings from a selection BC wineries. The event will also feature a silent auction and raffle.
