Whistler Creekside
As the original access point to Whistler Mountain, Whistler Creekside has a long
history of hosting high-performance competitions. The Dave Murray Downhill course, the
second longest downhill in the world, is extremely challenging with long winding turns,
big air and rolling terrain. Rated a “black diamond”, the course is
naturally Olympic-caliber and few modifications needed to be undertaken.
All Olympic and Paralympic alpine skiing events took place at
Whistler Creekside.
As the site of Whistler’s original Olympic
dream, Creekside came full circle during the Games. The next time you're skiing or
riding Whistler Mountain, check out the Dave Murray Downhill for your own Olympic
experience.
