- The newly-opened Squamish
Lil’wat Cultural Centre is full of interesting and educational
information about Whistler’s first Aboriginal inhabitants, the Squamish and
Lil’wat people.
- A cozy place to wait out an afternoon rain or snow storm is the new
Whistler Public
Library. Visitors can use the internet and word processing computers for free
or just curl up in the fireplace lounge with a magazine, book or your laptop
(there’s free wireless internet). Residents of B.C. can get a free membership
with their home library card and visitors can pay $10.00 for a monthly pass.
