Absolutely magical weekend at this backcountry lodge. The cross country ski to get there is mostly groomed, so we were happy we had our skate skis. It took us about 3 1/2 hours, we went at a relatively leisurely pace. The food at the lodge is delicious and plentiful. The whole place is so cozy. I can’t wait to go back!

Nice fun place for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing! You can ski with your dog or with your baby in a ski-stroller! We caught tail end of the season so the snow was not as good but still very enjoyable! Snowshoeing down to Alexander fall was very nice as well. Very impressed everyone was friendly and hospitable there!

Why would I wait in line up on the top of a mountain in -30 when I could be here? It was amazing!!! The views are stunning, it was peaceful, you can take dogs, everyone was really friendly, it was 35$ for the day that includes ticket and ski rentals!!!! I laughed the whole time with my sister, we had a great workout and we have already booked to go back again. I actually feel torn posting this because I selfishly don't want other people to know about it. The only thing that I would say it needed is a hot chocolate station but It looked like they were building a cute one out of an old bus. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and all the staff for being so friendly????

I tried skate skiing for the first time here and the staff was beyond helpful in guiding us with the rental. She even went out to give us a short lesson on how to skate skii!
