Upper Village is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain with direct mountain access via the Wizard high-speed chairlift. This area has several hotels, condominiums, restaurants, shopping and a couple of bars. It is a short walk or free village shuttle bus ride from here to Whistler Village.

Whistler's newest development is the revitalization of this original access area to Whistler mountain. The new development features a shopping area with a grocery store, liquor store, video stores and several restaurants and bars. The area accesses Whistler mountain via a high speed gondola lift.

Blueberry Hill is an original subdivision situated close by to Whistler Village and the ski lifts. It is a peaceful neighborhood which borders the Whistler Golf Course, filled with single family dwellings and a few condominiums. Access to the Village and ski lifts by walking or a short taxi ride.
