Spring Dining Deals & Specials – A Local’s Favourites

Editor’s Note: This post on Whistler’s spring dining deals was originally written in 2024, and we’ve kept Michelle’s yummy suggestions, while adding some more for 2026. Offers are rolling out daily, so keep checking our Dine Whistler: Spring Edition page for the latest specials.

I’ve lived in Whistler for nearly a decade now. I arrived in Whistler from Nova Scotia in the fall for “only one winter season”, but sure enough, I stayed for the Whistler summers. I’ve come to realize that each season has something to offer, but overall, my favourite time of year is spring.

Why? Sure, I love the birds and the buds, multi-sport days and the feel of the sun on my skin, but to be honest, it’s more about fueling my body and getting the most bang for my buck. What better time to awaken your taste buds than with Whistler’s spring dining specials after a day enjoying all the mountains have to offer?

The dining specials mean you can indulge in a three-course meal at an award-winning restaurant for as low as $29. The offers start early April and typically run until the end of May, although each place has a slightly different date range. What’s incredible about Whistler’s dining scene is its variety; with over 100 restaurants to choose from, there’s bound to be something to satisfy your cravings.

Here are some of my top picks for Whistler’s spring dining specials.

Mekong

Located in Whistler Creekside, Mekong opened its doors in July 2023. It’s the ultimate tribute to Thai cuisine. A highlight for me was the Tuna Crudo and Pad See Ew, although I also loved the decor. Their four-course special is a hidden gem.

Bar Oso (Happy 10th Birthday!)

A decade ago, Executive Chef Jorge Muñoz Santos and Whistler Culinary Director Chef James Walt set out to create a place rooted in gathering and connection — inspired by the convivial culture of Spain, where small plates, tapas, and conversation naturally bring people together. They achieved it with Bar Oso.

Chef Jorge brought his Spanish heritage to the kitchen, shaping a menu of vibrant, shareable dishes that are paired with an inventive cocktail program and set in a funky, vibrant room overlooking the Whistler Village Stroll. Dining at Bar Oso is fun, adventurous and meant for sharing.

Wild Blue

There’s no better way to end a sunny spring bluebird day than at Wild Blue. Voted Whistler’s Best Restaurant, 2025, in Vancouver Magazine and #33 in Canada’s 100 Best, 2025, they offer elevated Pacific Northwest cuisine.

Wild Blue has a splurge-worthy menu with sustainable seafood and locally sourced ingredients, not to mention an extensive wine list that covers all bases. Check out their four-course prix fixe menu with optional, but highly recommended, sommelier-selected wine pairings.

Sushi Village

Sushi is my go-to for eating out and something I look forward to every year when the spring dining offers come around. My favourite place to celebrate my birthday is Sushi Village. They take large group bookings, and the servers are so accommodating, so it’s a great spot to enjoy an array of Japanese favourites with all your family and friends. I’ll definitely be organizing my May birthday celebrations around their three-course special.

The Sushi Village Dining Deal

4-Courses for $35 (there are $5 beers too!)
Available: Sunday through Thursday from 5 PM

Nagomi Sushi is another top pick for sushi with a four-course special. If you haven’t already tried the homemade Green Tea Brulée, let me tell you, it’s a chef’s kiss! Harajuku has also stolen my taste buds with their awesome foursome special. They have vegan, veggie, gluten-free and everything in between. Their Eggplant Ginger Roll and Unicorn Roll are my favourites.

The Den at Nita Lake Lodge

South of Whistler Village, let your appetite wander to The Den at Nita Lake Lodge, located in Whistler Creekside. The Den serves a delicious menu focusing on West Coast plants and proteins. This is farm-to-table dining at its finest. The setting is contemporary, and word on the street is that their plant-based alternatives are the best in town!
