What’s the Difference Between a Lift Ticket and a Pass?
First, let’s dive into the main differences between a Whistler Blackcomb Lift Ticket versus a Pass product.
A lift ticket is locked to a particular day or set of dates, whereas a pass gives you date flexibility over the season
Lift ticket numbers are limited, so if you turn up on the day you want to go skiing and haven’t already purchased your ticket, there’s a chance they could have sold out (major bummer)
Lift tickets are more expensive than a pass (for the best deal on a ticket, you need to purchase it online, at least seven days in advance).
Passes are only available BEFORE the upcoming winter season (typically they go off sale at the start of December), whereas you can buy lift tickets at any time during the season
