Katherine Fawcett is an author, playwright, musician, teacher, obsessive outdoors-woman, star-gazer and insomniac. Her books include The Swan Suit (2020), The Little Washer of Sorrows (2015) and The Whistler Bear Book (2010). She performs with the Sea to Sky Orchestra, is a long-time board member of the Whistler Writers Festival and a music instructor at both the Whistler and Squamish Waldorf schools. When she isn't reading, writing or making music, Katherine spends as much time as possible going up and down mountains and getting in and out of lakes.
