Last updated: October 2018

Fall is the season for arts and culture in Whistler, and Cornucopia presented by BlueShore Financial has plenty to offer those wanting to unleash their creativity or pick up a little culture along the way.

Food and drink is for consuming, yes, but every meal is also an opportunity for adventure. Why simply have dinner when you could travel the world with an international chef as your guide? Why sit in a pub when you could be painting a masterpiece, brush in one hand and glass of delicious red wine in the other? Why not pair a beverage with quick-witted comedy or funky beats?

We’ve gone through the Cornucopia schedule and uncovered a few gems for those who seek more from every meal. Sit back and let us guide you through Cornucopia’s curiously creative side.

Loads of Laughs: Comedy Kitchen

Quips will fly at this event featuring headlining comic Erica Sigurdson, a dominating force in the Canadian Comedy scene as well as an award-winning writer. She’s hitting the stage with fellow comedian Yumi Nagashima and emcee Steev Letts.

Futuristic Audain

It’s time to get your futuristic fashion on for Cornucopia’s hottest new party – Abstract Future: From Now to Eternity. Held at the Audain Art Museum this event will see this iconic venue transform into a space that explores the possibilities of the near and distant future.

She’s collected scars, bikes for (almost) every occasion, a small trail dog and a love of craft beer plus a rudimentary understanding of skiing, snowboarding, sketching, and the art of chairlift conversations. She currently believes a combination of gravity, snow, dirt and rad people are what make Whistler tick but investigations are ongoing.
