More Than Just Racing
Crankworx Whistler is a festival in every sense of the word. Beyond the race track, spectators can explore Kidsworx events, demo the latest gear, enjoy live entertainment, and witness the artistry of the Deep Summer Photo Challenge and crowd-pleaser Dirt Diaries. It’s also a homecoming for the global mountain bike community, celebrating shared passion on the unceded territories of the Lil’wat and Squamish Nations.

As the grand finale of the Crankworx World Tour, Whistler will also crown the 2025 King & Queen of Crankworx – titles earned through grit, versatility, and dominance across disciplines. Fans can expect to see the world’s best riders across disciplines returning to Whistler to celebrate the festival’s 20th edition and compete in spectacular races throughout the ten-day festival.
ASPIRE
ASPIRE is another non-race event organized by Crankworx and SRAM, which aims to make changes in the bike world from the ground up. It’s a panel discussion and networking event that brings together grassroots leaders, athletes, and changemakers redefining who gets to lead and belong in the outdoors.
Take a look at the video from last year’s event to get a feel for what ASPIRE is all about.
Held at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre on August 9 from 6 to 9 PM, this year’s panel topic is How to Build Authentic Partnerships with BIPOC Organizations. With powerful storytelling, an inclusive panel of BIPOC leaders, and opportunities to connect across cultures and communities, Aspire invites everyone to listen, learn, and be part of something larger than the sport.
It’s being hosted by Grow Cycling Foundation’s founder, Eliot Jackson, alongside Alisha Zellner from SRAM. The speakers include: Annijke Wade from DirtBound Cycling, Sandy Ward from Indigenous Women Outdoors, Ruandy Albisurez from Warpaint Outdoors and April Katz from AIROW Project.
