Whistler ski season starts mid-November which means it time to start thinking about getting those legs in shape and working on the stamina. This week The Insider hooks up with Olympic ski cross athlete and Whistler local Julia Murray for a healthy breakfast and a session with local fitness master Allie Thomas to work on some easy-to-do preseason exercises that will get you in shape for opening day.

And if you are really keen on early season stamina treble up on the fitness with last year’s procrastinator video (below) and this handy guide to yoga for skiers and snowboarders. See ya on the slopes.

After leaving home Feet did a few good stints in warmer climates and 4 years of writing school before returning to the mountains to make ski movies, hammer out a journalism career and avoid the 9-5 lifestyle as long as possible.
