Made for the epicurious, uninhibited food and drink lover, Cornucopia offers many opportunities to experiment with your palate, expand your knowledge, and celebrate Whistler’s world-class food and drink scene. Cornucopia features 11 days of 70+ events under the following four categories: Signature Events, Drink Seminars, Culinary Stage Series, and Bar and Restaurant Events.

2023 Signature Event Highlights

House Party: Best of BC

Thursday, November 9 | 6 - 9 PM
This lively event kicks off the festivities with an exceptional buffet and samples from a variety of wineries, breweries and distilleries from our backyard, each eager to share their distinct drops, techniques and inspirations. This event is a perennial sellout and the perfect reason to start the weekend early.

Cellar Door

Friday, November 10 | 8 - 11 PM
Cellar Door unlocks the gates to the world of fine wines and champagnes by uncorking top-shelf bottles (all valued at over $35) from different regions around the world. This curated and intimate event showcases 25+ wineries and is an excellent event for the connoisseur of fine wines. Small bites will accompany the tastings.

CRUSH Grand Tasting

Saturday, November 11 | 8:30 - 11 PM (Early Entry from 7:45 PM)
The flagship tasting event of Cornucopia, CRUSH creates a vibrant atmosphere to sip, sample and savour your way through more than 50 wineries. From New World to Old World, Merlot to Champagne, there is opportunity to discover a new favourite gem, or ten! Paired with tempting bites from local restaurants and a live DJ, and you're all set for an evening of exploration.

Drag Me to Brunch

Sunday, November 12 | 10 AM - 1 PM
Slap on some sparkle and snag a seat at Cornucopia’s Sunday brunch extravaganza. Serving mimosas and jaw-dropping talent, this brunch is anything but ordinary. Feast on a buffet of your favourite brunch classics, while Canada’s most loved drag queens #work the main catwalk stage. Dress to impress and drag your friends to brunch!

Murder Mystery Dinner at Bearfoot Bistro

Dress to the nines in your finest 80s prom attire as you become part of a captivating storyline filled with secrets, suspense, and unexpected twists. While you savour a delectable four-course meal at world-renowned Bearfoot Bistro, you'll work together with fellow prom-goers to unravel the mystery that unfolds around you.

Taste of Indigenous Worlds

Sunday, November 12 | 7 - 9:30 PM
Embark on a unique culinary journey expertly crafted by renowned Indigenous chefs at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. Explore diverse sampling booths with your exclusive Taste of Indigenous Worlds passport, savouring diverse dishes inspired by Indigenous traditions from around British Columbia.

With a Twist

Sunday, November 12 | 8 - 11 PM
With a Twist Silent Disco is your chance to let your hair down, in your own way. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a pair of headphones, a glass and drink tokens . . . and then the rest is up to you. Tune in with your favourite DJ (each spinning live), work your way through the innovative cocktails, beers and spirits.

Laugh Out Live

Monday, November 13 | 8 - 11 PM
Laugh Out LIVE! returns for a special Cornucopia edition! A not-to-be-missed Whistler experience, this smorgasbord of improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy paired with prize giveaways and special guests won't disappoint. Think Saturday Night Live meets Whose Line Is It Anyway?, meets The Price Is Right, meets your granny’s 70’s collection. Yikes!

Comedy Kitchen

Thursday, November 16 | 8 - 11 PM
Comedy Kitchen is cooking up something hotter than ever! The three hilarious comics are guaranteed to have you falling off your seat and giggling all the way home. Outstanding talent, great company and delicious drinks, what more could you ask for? Tickets include two drinks, additional available for purchase.

Night Market: Taste of the World

Friday, November 17 | 8 - 10:30 PM
Discover the world on a plate when you step into this global culinary adventure with your Taste of the World passport. Sample delectable creations crafted by guest chefs and renowned restaurants and enjoy a fun-filled evening a casual yet refined atmosphere, reminiscent of vibrant street markets. Come with an appetite for international flavours and don't forget to pair everything with a selection of wine, beer and spirits.

Poured

Saturday, November 18 | 8 - 11 PM
The most all-encompassing drink event at Cornucopia, Poured Grand Tasting offers a world of exploration for the beverage connoisseur. Capturing drinks from expertly-crafted BC beer and ciders, to spirits, and rounded out with a few wines, it's a spirited night of social carousing.

Bearfoot Bistro World Oyster Invitational & Bloody Caesar Battle

Sunday, November 19 | 3 - 7 PM
Don’t miss the 11th annual throwdown when the best oyster shuckers, bartenders and mixologists from around the globe descend on Whistler to meet and compete. Tickets include all refreshments, food and entertainment, plus a front row seat to witness the knives fly as oysters are shucked against the clock, and a chance to try each Caesar entered in the bloodiest battle of the year.

Cornucopia encourages all guests to drink responsibly and to Sniff, Swirl, Sip & Spit! Please make sure to arrange a safe ride home from your event, or search for accommodation within walking distance of your event.

Signature Tastings

Drink Seminars

Taste and learn at over 40 seminars featuring wine, spirits, beer and more in an intimate setting with world-class experts in their fields. This is the perfect place to deepen your knowledge and refine your palate with experts to guide you.

Culinary Stage Series

Put simply, the Culinary Stage Series is like being in the audience of a live cooking show, and you get to enjoy the food creations – complete with drink pairings. The series features local and national chefs, producers and beverage professionals to provide attendees the chance to learn their cooking tips and tricks, and enjoy multi-course, drink-paired menus.

Cornucopia celebrates Whistler’s word-class culinary scene with food and drink experiences hosted by local restaurants and bars. Winemaker dinners, cocktail pairings, brunches, multi-course menus and more are presented with safety protocols in place. Events are regularly added to the schedule.
