Whistler definitely is a place for thrill-seekers, but paradoxically the mountains also allow us to find peace and can fill us with a sense of reverence. When I look back over the best Insta photos for the year, I can see this juxtaposition reflected in the images. At a time when we are focused on the need for respect of our natural heritage, I know that locals and visitors to Whistler share this call to protect what we have here. How could we not want to shield something so incredible?
