Pro mountain biker Rémy Métailler calls Whistler home, where the trails and mountain bike park offer ample opportunities for the athlete to hone his skills during the warm months. But what does a pro mountain biker do when the winter comes?
The answer is simple. Keep shredding.
For all the dirt athletes who choose to call the mountains home the winter months in Whistler are a chance to add a little cross training, test out their flow in the snow, get into the gym and dial in their gear and training plans for the year ahead. With occasional trips to places like Chile, just to make sure they remember the feel of dust under the tires.
