Regardless of where you’re from, it’s always a good time for a Girls’ Weekend Getaway. The Global Glitterati are entrepreneurs and socialite fashionistas living in wanderlust and traveling the globe sourcing and defining trends while expressing themselves through inspirational relationships, fabulous style and exciting life experiences. In February they chose Whistler’s beautiful wilderness and pulsing Village for a special Glitterati Girls’ winter weekend of friendship expanding, fine dining, snowy adventure and warm outfits.

The Insider tagged along to record the good times and in the Part One video above the girls sip on luxury at the Bearfoot Bistro and rocket down the 2010 Winter Games bobsleigh course. Part Two of the Glitterati Girls’ weekend drops March 18, 2013 so stay tuned.

Feet Banks moved to Whistler at age 12 so his parents could live the dream and ski as much as possible. He ended up living it too. After leaving home Feet did a few good stints in warmer climates and 4 years of writing school before returning to the mountains to make ski movies, hammer out a journalism career and avoid the 9-5 lifestyle as long as possible. He’s been a hay farmer, a hole digger, a magazine editor and has a jump named after him on Blackcomb Mountain, Feet’s Air. It’s tiny.
