Whistler Sabbatical – “Best Month Ever” Video

Whistler Sabbatical Project winner “Lucky” Luke Dillon and his trusty sidekick Tim Davis finished their action-packed month in Whistler on April 18, 2012, but winter has since refused to let go. With fresh snow in the alpine this morning you can bet the boys, who skied every single day of their month in town, would be up there ripping another day of fresh lines in Spanky’s Ladder. (Luke and Tim also managed 31 straight après sessions, which is incredibly admirable.)

The boys are back home in England now but their enthusiasm and adventurous spirit will not soon be forgotten. (Plus i have a feeling we will see them back here soon enough…) In the meantime, enjoy this video of the experiences and lessons learned on their incredible one-month Whistler Sabbatical.

Feet Banks

Feet Banks

Feet Banks moved to Whistler at age 12 so his parents could live the dream and ski as much as possible. He ended up living it too. After leaving home Feet did a few good stints in warmer climates and 4 years of writing school before returning to the mountains to make ski movies, hammer out a journalism career and avoid the 9-5 lifestyle as long as possible. He’s been a hay farmer, a hole digger, a magazine editor and has a jump named after him on Blackcomb Mountain, Feet’s Air. It’s tiny.
