Tourism Whistler's Peak Rating System
Tourism Whistler has developed a Whistler-specific accommodation rating
system that provides consumers with valuable information regarding the
various types of accommodation available in the resort. The Peak Rating System will help you to decide which lodging will best
fulfill your needs as the ratings are determined upon services and
amenities offered at
properties, and upon in-suite amenities. 5 Peaks are luxury, fully
appointed properties and rooms, while 2 Peaks offer more limited
property amenities and services.
-
Luxury
Luxurious accommodations with highly-refined personalized services, including
24-hour, on-site check in, on-site food and beverage or catering services
and daily housekeeping. Hotels will also include on-site pool, hot tub
and spa.
Deluxe
Mid-level accommodations with limited or partial services. These may include onsite or offsite front desk, pool or hot tub anemities. These amenities vary by property and supplier.
-
Moderate
Mid-level accommodations with partial services, such as a 24-hour, off-site
front desk.
These ratings provide consistent and reliable information on what to expect
from a Whistler accommodation. The accommodation rating system has been divided into distinct property
categories to differentiate between Whistler's diverse accommodation
types. Different criteria have been developed to establish ratings within
each category. The property categories include Hotels, Condominium Lodges,
