Getting Here and Getting Around

Travel Smart - Know Before You Go

The Sea to Sky Highway is a breathtaking journey of ocean and mountain vistas, and the ONLY direct route to Whistler from Vancouver. Whether you are staying overnight or just coming up for the day to ski, snowboard or see Paralympic events, you need to know the best way to get here.

If you are coming from Vancouver:
To reach the Whistler Paralympic Park (biathlon and cross-country skiing, 15 km south of Whistler Village) and Whistler Creekside (alpine skiing, 4 km south of Whistler Village) venues, spectators can drive to the Whistler Paralympic Park spectator parking lot at the base of Callaghan Valley Road. From there, take the designated, free and fully accessible shuttles to the venues. Do not park along Callaghan Valley Road as strict towing policies will be enforced. You can also catch a bus from Vancouver to Whistler Village. Directions from Whistler Village are below.

If you are staying in Whistler:
Your Paralympic event ticket gets you on Whistler's transit service for free on the day of the event.
