One of the biggest and best gay ski weeks in the world, WinterPride is chock full of fun events, spectacular skiing and snowboarding and fantastic parties.

Showcase Showdown 2010
March 6th, 2010

Don't miss the 13th annual slopestyle jib fest presented by the pros at Showcase Snowboards. More details to come.

7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show
March 7th, 2010 to March 28th, 2010

Bring the whole family to the base of the Whistler Village Gondola and see fire spinners, fire works and the hottest pros from Whistler Blackcomb's ski and snowboard school throwing down big air through a ring of fire. After the show head upstairs to the Garibaldi Lift Company's notorious Afterburn Party. Every Sunday evening at 6:30 pm until April 4, 2010.

Winter Farmers Market
March 7th, 2010 to March 28th, 2010

Head over to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre every Sunday for fresh bread, local produce, handmade jewellery and more. 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The 2010 Paralympic Winter Games
March 12th, 2010 to March 21st, 2010

See Paralympic athletes go for the gold in a variety of high adrenaline sport competitions. Celebrations include the Paralympic Closing Ceremonies.

Appleton Rum Peak to Valley Race
March 26th, 2010 to March 27th, 2010

A long standing Whistler favourite, the Peak to Valley Race features teams of four racing down Whistler Mountain with the oldest competitors starting first. An awards dinner at the Roundhouse Lodge caps off the festivities.
