Cross-Country Skiing

**Please note the Lost Lake Park trails are now closed for the season**

Cross-country skiing is one of Whistler’s best kept (and most affordable) secrets. No chairlift lineups here; just you, perfectly groomed trails and Whistler’s enchanting winter wonderland to explore. With three cross-country skiing venues, including the official Nordic venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Whistler offers more than 130 km of trails.

Lost Lake Park features 32 kms of trails and offers views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains; four kilometers have lighting for enjoying evening runs. Check out Lost Lake Cross Country Connection.

The brand new Whistler Olympic Park is where all the Nordic events took place during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Callaghan Country, right next to Whistler Olympic Park, has an overnight cross-country ski lodge but also offers day passes to their trails as well. Both parks honour each other’s passes and combined, have more than 95 kms of groomed trails to enjoy.

Have some great photos from the trails? Enter the BC Nordic Society's photo contest and win a Whistler Nordic getaway!

Whistler Olympic Park and Callaghan Country are open to the public from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm until April 18, 2010.
