Get Hired
We seek people who are committed to our team, resort, organization, purpose and vision with passion and energy. Our
ideal candidates possess energy, are team players, and have a love of Whistler and all the Sea to Sky corridor has to offer.
They have a passion for the tourism industry and their profession, are results orientated and are high achievers.

THE HIRING PROCESS
Here's how our recruitment process works:
- Upon receiving your online application, we will evaluate your credentials as they relate to the position you are applying
for. If your qualifications are a match (yay!), we will contact you to schedule an interview.
- If you are selected for an interview, we will contact you to schedule an initial meeting with a member of our Human Resources team and the hiring manager.
- If successful in that initial interview, a second and final interview would be conducted with the head of the department. Please note there may also be a skills evaluation test (if applicable) included in the second interview.
- Next, reference checks are conducted and finally an offer is made.
The length of our recruitment process varies due to a number of factors, including the number of applications and the
candidate and hiring manager’s availability for interviews. We aim to have positions filled within about a month. All
applicants will be notified once a position has been filled.
We are pleased you have chosen to explore the exciting career opportunities at Tourism Whistler and we thank you for
taking the time to contact us.
Students
Tourism Whistler encourages applications from students interested in completing their work placement or co-op within the
tourism industry. We believe that students bring a fresh perspective that allows our team and projects to be more innovative.
We look for students who match our core values: Passion & Energy, Achievement and Respect and who are excelling in their
studies. We want to establish relationships with the future leaders of the Tourism Industry. Placements are typically in
our Visitor Information Centre or in our Administration office.
If you are interested in completing your work placement or co-op with Tourism Whistler please email
jobs@tourismwhistler.com with your resume and your program information. Let us
know where your passion lies and what departments you are interested in. Depending on the timing and where Tourism Whistler
is in need of additional support there may be an opportunity to work with us.
