Everyone loves a party and Whistler can throw one like nowhere else.
Parties, special events, celebrations and festivals are all part of Whistler life, year-round. It's an open invitation to fun.
Toonie Rides are a great way to have fun, explore the trails, get some exercise and socialize with the coolest club in Whistler. Organized by WORCA, Whistler's Off Road Cycling Association, the rides take place on a different course each week and end with a complimentary après sponsored by a local Whistler business. Riders must be WORCA members and rides are open to all abilities. Every Thursday until September 16, 5:30 pm sign-in. Check out the season schedule and become a WORCA member.
A fundraiser for the BC Disabled Ski Team and one of the longest running bike races in the corridor, the West Side Wheel Up is back for its 17th year. The cost of riding is $25 and includes a raffle ticket, with the top prize being a dual mountain ski pass donated by Whistler Blackcomb. The start line is on Millar Creek Road in Function Junction and sign-up begins at 11:00 am at the start. Race gets underway at noon.
If you're looking to learn new skills, increase your confidence on the bike, or simply enjoy the sport like never before, the Trek Dirt Series mountain bike camps are for you. They offer personalized instruction, professional programming, and an incredibly skilled, enthusiastic, and supportive coaching staff. This is a co-ed clinic for men and women. The Dirt Series is a skill development program like no other to build confidence, fuel success, and enrich lives through mountain biking.

Popular in Europe, this mass participation cycling event is open to all levels of ability and the first ride of its kind in Canada. Starting in Vancouver and ending a grueling 120 kilometers later in Whistler, this ride features 2,400 meters of elevation gain along the incredibly scenic Sea to Sky Highway. A shorter version is available with a start in Squamish - 60 kilometers south of Whistler.
A mountain bike race like no other, the Cheakamus Challenge starts at the Squamish Airport and ends at Dusty’s in Creekside. Featuring more than 2,000 metres of climbing and 72 km of trail, this race will test your mettle with big climbs, high speed rolling terrain and the classic Sea to Sky single-track. For beginners and juniors, the Pique Newsmagazine Cheakamus Light offers a 40 km course beginning at Cal-Cheak Campsite at noon.
